Having just lost our first war I felt it would be useful to discuss why we lost, how we can rectify the problems & how we can advance into a winning position when we go to war again.
To state the downright obvious, we lost because they got more stars than us! In fact it was much more like, we didn't get as many stars as them & there is a subtle difference.
There were 3 main reasons why we didn't get as many stars as them :-
1) Our defense, whilst on the whole, was good, it could have been a little better.
2) Our Offence at times was dismal to say the least! We were going to battle with a farming mentality & most of the time had very little chance of 3 starring our opponents.
3) Our attacking strategy has not been communicated well to the peeps in the clan. It seems that there are still some members who don't understand that attacking a base that has already been 3 starred is not going to advance the war effort in any way & is in fact detrimental because it wastes an attack.
I am going to expand a lot on Defense, Offence and managing our attacks as a clan during the 24hrs of war in separate threads. I hope that as many of you as possible will read these threads & comment or make suggestions. I'm not saying this is going to be the be all & end all of clan wars strategy, but these are just my thoughts.
